3.4.1b Loop Survey

Use the readings you took today to determine the HI and ELEV.

  • BM - Banchmark
  • BS - Backsight
  • HI - Height of Instrument
  • FS - Foresight
  • ELEV - Elevation
HI = BS + (BM or previous ELEV)

ELEV = HI - FS
